Centro Hípico do Porto e Matosinhos is one of the biggest equestrian centers in the north region of Portugal, situated in Matosinhos, and it’s becoming a reference of the equestrian sport in Portugal.

Frente Atlântica (Atlantic Front) is an organization that brings together the municipalities of Matosinhos, Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia.

Its objective is, from an institutional platform that brings together common interests, to take advantage of synergies, gain scale, share knowledge and develop projects that, while respecting diversity, promote the best use of the public resources of the three municipalities.

The tourism in the area is unavoidably known by its gastronomy with the sea at the table, probably with the best fish in the world, the contemporary architecture and the immense sea coast.

Centro Hípico do Porto e Matosinhos offers its members and visitors a wide area for the practice of equestrian sport. It has, in addition to two outdoor and two indoor riding arenas, a box area, a riding school and an extensive social area with green spaces, a restaurant and bar and an equestrian supplies store. CHPM also has a dedicated partnership with AEPM, an organisation that works in the facilities, whose mission is to provide direct contact with horses at the therapeutic, sporting and professional level, as well as leisure, adapted in a global and inclusive way.
